Okay so here's my rant for the week.
Yesterday, we had absolutely beautiful weather-so we decided to take the kids to the sound. Its like the beach but the waves are smaller and Doodle prefers that. So we arrive and there's a wedding going in progress on the right side of the dock. We park to the far left and head down, this way we wont be disturbing the wedding.
We walked down to the sandy part before the water and set up camp so to speak. My Son was soundly sleeping in his car seat where we had set up camp. It was far enough back that the water wouldnt hit him, even in the case of huge waves-but close enough that he was only about 4 feet from me, Hubby and Doodle. We were enjoying the water and the beach for some time. Probably about 15 minutes. But all good things must come to an end.
Hubby and I notice a van pull up through the grass and onto the beach. Now there's a parking lot that everyone else uses, but apparently these ladies felt they were special. They open the side door to their van and out races 6 dogs of various sizes all charging towards my peacefully sleeping son. I quickly positioned myself between my son and the dogs and no harm came to him. Thank goodness. :)
But I just couldnt believe that these two women-after seeing the wedding in progress (it was outdoors), would let their dogs out without leashes to just run around. And I can see them not noticing the carseat, cause its small, but they had to have seen my daughter and the other small kids around. We werent the only ones there. I mean, what if my daughter or one of the other kids around was terrified of dogs? It was just incredibly inconsiderate!
And then on top of that, they let their dogs just go to the bathroom all over the park. I'm sure that must have smelled wonderful for the bride and groom. Completely irresponcible!
Some people should just be more considerate of others. Geez!

I know what you mean! I live in a town where people are constantly inconsiderate! By the way, I'm a WoW loser as well!
